Founder & CEO - Dr. Ismail D. Badjie

Dr. Badjie earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D; 2013) from Purdue University (Lafayette, Indiana USA). Dr. Badjie founded Innovarx Global Health with 9 years of experience in the pharmacy industry serving in multiple capacities. In his most recent role as Pharmacy Manager of the second-largest US-based Pharmacy store chain, Dr. Badjie managed a 24-hour community pharmacy that specialized in pharmaceutical compounding, HIV therapy, and Adult Immunizations, with daily averages of over 500 prescriptions, total yearly sales of $12 million dollars, and an inventory size as high as $1 million dollars. Dr. Badjie also holds a Six-Sigma Green Belt in healthcare focused on increasing efficiencies and outcomes in healthcare organizations.

Chief Finance Officer - Haddy J. Coulibaly

 

Haddy joins Innovarx Global Health (IGH) with over 15 years experience in the financial services/FinTech industry and has extensive knowledge in accounts receivable, credit risk management, credit and financial analysis, operations management and financial systems implementation and administration.

Startup Experience: Haddy was instrumental in building NOW Corp's flagship product, NOWaccount—an innovative payment system that enables businesses to get paid immediately without loans, liabilities or factoring. Prior to that, Haddy worked as a Sr. Underwriter and Credit Analyst for FTRANS, creating risk models, developing and maintaining the company's main internal receivables management systems and overseeing management of asset-based loans and credit risk on all accounts.

Director of Pharmacy Operations, IGH Gambia - Jatou Jaye, MSc

Jatou joins the IGH team as an experienced practitioner in the Gambian Pharmaceutical industry with experiences in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical care, Medicines regulation and quality control procedures. Jatou obtained a Bachelor’s of Pharmacy degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical analysis and quality control, from Kings College London, United Kingdom.   Her professional experiences include tenure at the National Pharmaceutical Services, in Banjul, The Gambia and the Edward Francis Teaching Hospital in Banjul.
