The Thyroid gland is a small gland located at the base of the brain, where It produces a hormone called thyroid-stimulating hormone. When the thyroid gland is not producing enough of the TSH it can lead to a condition called Hypothyroidism. When it produces too much hormone it can lead to a condition called Hyperthyroidism. Both of whom can lead to various health issues
